I've always wondered this, and since now we are getting money, ammo, upgrades, better health system, I thought maybe this time around, after maybe 100% completion of the game, you could unlock cheats. No code based cheats, but unlockables (unlimited health, ammo, money etc).

I think it would be a good addition, since it would need time and effort, and it would be up to you to enabled the cheats.

ALSO the buying system for your "home" that is rumoured would obviously be excluded because it would be a possible exploit.

Maybe a "you will not be able to save after enabling unlimited money" kinda thing.

That could be the rewards Patrice was talking about when he said there was now a reason to collect the flags/collectables.

Hi guys!
Long time no seen, damn Army http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anyway, I think the using of the word "cheat" is a bit harsh... maybe cool unlockables like in COD... like when you kill 100 enemies with throwing knives, you can now throw 2 throwing knives, or something like that.

I think buy the time you have completely beat the game and upgraded Ezio you are not going to need cheats. And AC1 was fun to play after you beat it and there were no cheats.

Maybe just make something ridiculous and impractical. Like speed everything up 2X, make it black and white, and play piano music in the background. (See COD4)

Bingo, and you could excuse it all by saying it's modifications made to the Animus!

AC1 had no need for cheats... Only unlimited health and knives would have been needed. Maybe never get the level "red" bleeping thingy where gaurds chase ya'.

AC2 has ammo, money, notoritey system, complex health system. It's completely different... I doubt everyone will have completely upgraded Ezio by the end of the game.

Well, when I finish ACII, I want to go back and get everything you can get, without cheating. But that's just me.

But speaking on the matter, what they MUST do, is allow you to keep all the eq/upgrades you've already got when you start a new game, after you've already finished the game once or two.
It's an excellent thing! I tried it on both Mass Effect and Prototype, and it's much much more fun playing the game again this way.

That's why it's optional?

That's why I added it's just me.
Was just expressing my personal thoughts, and I think it will be better if the unlockers would have cool effects like in COD, but not something like unlimited health.

the only thing I hope they unlock at the end is a true free roam were you can go back and do anything you missed during the game so you can get that 100% compleation, since it is never posssible to get everything in a run through the game.

as for keeping your equipment and stuff I liked this feature in vagrant story and I also loved the way it put you back to the begining at the end so you could go after unlocks on they way through the game again such as 100% map explored or 100% cheasts opend.

Two unlockables.
Altair costume.
Lightsaber hidden blades with a lightsaber for a sword http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif .
One cheat.
Unlimited money.

Apart from the obvious I think these could be great for the game.

Fixed that for you.

Also, you might as well have unlimited health by the end of AC1. And pickpocketing knives isn't hard. At all.

Honestly, I don't think any game NEEDS cheats, but a few weird cheats which turn enemies into weird animals, or speed up/slow down time, or do interesting things to the physics engine would be nice. Just for a bit of variety.

BTW, is Every1 Gonna Do All 200 missions the first try at the game?

I never speed through a game the first time around. I don't go all out and get all the useless or near-impossible side stuff, but I don't skim by. Like in AC1, I did all the investigations and viewpoints/save citizens. I didn't get all the flags/templars though.

No cheats but stuff like, lightsabers as a weapon, or when you throw a throwing knife, you throw a butchers knife, or smoke bombs are different colours

AND when you upgrade your Swordwhile it is a light saber it will look different, stuff like that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
