View Full Version : [BUG] Contaminated Zone in Southwest - Elevator Bug

Was just clearing out Southwest and doing some exploring when I encountered something strange;

The Contaminated Zone in Southwest was some nice environmental puzzle solving until I was up to the last coms point, which I believe is on the roof which is only accessible from an elevator inside the building. On entering the elevator and pressing the button to ascend to the roof, I'm met with a warning saying I'm outside the playable area. The game goes to a loading screen and I end up stuck on the ground floor, inside the elevator, with the doors closed. The only way to escape is to fast-travel out to a checkpoint.

It's possible to enter the Contaminated Zone again and call the elevator back to ground; but every time you take it up to the roof you get the same error which boots you back to ground-floor, trapped inside an elevator you can't escape.

Just a heads up for the Ubisoft / Massive team.

Also just happened to me. I ran back and tried again and the same thing happened, but now I can't even press ESC or use the map. Had to Alt-F4 out

Same, I've tried 3 times now, every time I step out of the elevator I get teleported back inside the closed elevator and have to fast travel to escape. Can't get to the collectible. :(

Ditto, here's a clip on what is happening, as well at the end me showing the GPS trail doesn't work to at least that contaminated zone from inside No Hope Hotel Control Point area. it's not until I hit the street does it remain on the map.
