I know that lately Oleg is asking people to do late war planes, maybe for a paid add-on. Is someone making the twin-engined Focke-Wulf Ta 154? It was a real crack that could make P-38 sweat, and there were REALLY some of these flying by VE day.

A good adition for Luftwaffers! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Hm... would be a very nice addition, would fit nicely with the 110. I heard that was designed as a night fighter.
The moskito was quite a beautiful plane

A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great'
landing is one after which they can use the plane again<center>

Well the Ta-154 was designed mainly as a counterpart to the Mosquito and to intercept the bombers these escorted.
In this role the 154 needed to be mainly a nightfighter. In as far as I know was the 154 completely another class of a/c than the 110 as the 154 was a very new design incontrast to the pre war 110.

The 154 was intended for very cheap mass production in the late stages of the war, so - due to lack of metals - it was to be built with as many wooden parts as possible which reduced its production quality and durability.

But anyway - Ta-154 twin engined single seat heavy fighter would be a great bonus to the game.

The first rough designs of the TA154 of chief engineer Ludwig Mittelhuber saw the TA154 as fast bomber. After first presentation of these layouts, Generalfeldmarschall Milch decided to chance the original design from bomber to nightfighter, by Oktober 1942.
