View Full Version : Another stuttering issue

Windows 10 64bit
i5-7400 3Ghz
GTX 1070

So ive seen many posts regarding this issue in some way.
However none that solves my problem.

The game runs smooth for like 30 seconds with 60 fps. Then all the sudden it starts stuttering and lowering fps for 30 seconds. This keeps going back and forth all the time.

What i have tried:

Almost every different video settings in game (P.S the game runs much better with high settings, on low settings it laggs all the time lol?)

Windowed / Borderless makes it worse.

Closed every application on my computer except Trials.

Hey Stjithoole and welcome to the forums :D

Does this happen all the time (for example during the main menu AND during levels) or only at specific times etc?

It feels like its only in game and not in menus.

If i turn off Vsync the stuttering stops, but then ofc i get the screen tearing like crazy.

Borderless mode seems to be working best.

Alrighty thanks for letting me know!

Could you please try the steps listed in this FAQ (https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/000025947/Basic-PC-Troubleshooting/)and let me know if that helps at all?

"Check if your system meets the specifications required for the game"

"Try to run the game with administrator rights"
Done both Launch_Trials_Rising.exe and trialsrising.exe

"Update your video card drivers"

"Verify your game files"
Im using steam, no faults from the scan

"Disable background applications"
All but Steam disabled

"Make sure your operating system is up to date"

"Update Uplay PC"

"Reinstall supporting software"
I can only find UplayInstaller in this folder.

At first i thought administrator mode fix the issue, but 2 minutes later it started stuttering again..

I should mention that some tracks stutter waaaay more then others. Even tho every track has it..more or less..
Easy - Medieval Flair - has almost nothing compared to Easy - Lynx World.
And it does not have to be when there are sertain explosions or movements in the background. Just random.
