Now you can add the PE-2/3 to your ###planes.dat files and fly that plane in a Dgen career. That is if it's to your liking to do so. All you have to do is go to SimHQ and go to the IL2/FB/PF forum and they have a sticky thread on it. Then download it and replace your old version with this new one.
Then edit your ###planes.dat files in the DGEN folder so you can select PE-2/3s to start campaigns for them. Need more explaination on how to do that?? Just ask and I'll post the details.

Thanks... I'm however unsure how to make Pe-2/3 to work in them.
Where should I add them (says manually)?

I don't have Ostfront.

You have to have Ostfront for the new campaigns to work, but of course you can always create Pe-2/3 campaigns with the other stock campaigns.

Just open up that file ( found in the Dgen folder ) and add the names of the PE-2/3s to it.

Here's the plane names for the series:
PE_2SERIES1
PE_2SERIES84
PE_2SERIES110
PE_2SERIES359
PE_3SERIES1
PE_3BIS

Here's where you'd add them in the planesRuS.dat
file:

Historically though, the PE-3 would actually be in some fighter campaigns I believe. I forgot about the fact they tried to use it as a heavy fighter.

Please remember to also find the Europlanes.dat
( also in Dgen folder ) file and change the zeroes to ones at the end of each line for the PE-2/3 series. Otherwise you'll get airstarts missions evertime!! Better to start on the runway for most people. The "one" will designate it as a flyable and not just a AI plane.
