As I see you're probably new or not very aware of what's happened around here the last two years, I'll tell you that the planes and cockpits coming in these last three add-ons, are the last ones at all.

It's been around a year since Oleg established a time limit to present 3rd party and own stuff to work on and include it.

After that they need to concentrate all their human and material resources in their next sim project: 'Storm of War: Battle of Britain' (WIP title). Besides, there was a complex and unfortunate copyright affair with an American aircraft company which led to discard any new US aircraft project for this game.

So, I can tell you that, about the planes you asked, you have these chances:

P-36 (Hawk 75): Currently AI, it's very unlikely to have a cockpit due to reported lack of data, although it seems it would not be that hard to obtain it. Anyway, I don't think we'll have it.

N1K2: Unlikely also, this time also for lack of time. There was a project about it, but data was really very scarce and they simply had other priorities. At least, it's AI.

Ki-43-II: I think we will have a cockpit in one of the next add-ons, probably the next one.

U2VS: An abandoned project, some Russian guy made it, but I don't know what happened. Probably, it didn't match the picky specifications needed for inclusion, and there was not too much interest in a plane with a very marginal role in this sim.

TBF-1C: Apart from the difficulty of making a full packed three-seater cockpit and gun seats for PF, there was that copyright issue that definitively parked any new US project aside forever, except maybe Curtiss designs. The same happened to AI Devastator and other US stuff.

In fact we don't have any manned Pacific torpedo-bomber in PF, and we won't. Very weird for a PTO air sim.

But we'll have a lot of stuff in next paid add-ons. Maybe some of you 'etc' is there... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The N1K2 will be flyable with the Manchuria addon. It's the N1Ks that have very little cockpit data available.

Duxford has a fully restored P-36, i dont see why it would be that difficult to get a man down there, photograph every inch of the cockpit and then you would have al the data needed. And if you think about it for Duxford to have restored a P-36 then they must have had all the official documentation. Ah well i can only dream...

There are so many ways to break away from TM and CR laws it is crazy! Take Andy Warhol for just one and the only needed example.

I cant remember now, graphics art class was years ago but he circumvented the law, which was brought forth by Disney I believe, by simply adding or subtracting a line in the art which left it immune to cr & TM laws. THEREFORE it wasn't or couldn't be construed as a copy of the original.

This can be done so why all the oppostion to a valid a/c in the inventory? The torps? Fuhgeddabout the torps , The Avenger did better in a level/glide bombing role than the U.S.'s torp selection leads all to believe.

Oh Yeah thats right: "Oleg: TBF/M IZ DA NEW IL-2 BE SURE! And...um...well..quite frankly we're skeered of it!"
