I'm not usually one to complain about online flying. I don't care if I get "vulched" or if someone steals my kill or any of the other boring gripes I usually read about. I'm more of the thought that anything's "fair" in "war."

The other day, I shot off a guys wing and he went into a fast spin. Once he realized he was done for, he started unloading his guns, shooting in 360 degree circles. I didn't have time to avoid him and when I flew through his "bullet tornado," he hit me on the way in and the way out. Of course, he set my engine one fire. ARGHH!! Man was I pi*sed. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif As I said before I guess it's fair... fair but cheap.

It may not even have been deliberate... a couple of times when I've been PK'ed while the trigger was held down the guns just kept on shooting until they ran out of ammo even though I released the trigger.

exactly what I thought, once I PK'd a Zero pilot head-on, when looked back over my shoulder, I was surprised to see that he continued firing and firing the bright tracers into the nowhere, while making a gently curved down to the ocean.

This is modelled totally wrong BTW. If you die, you probably release the button at once. Wanna try once? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thats funny! I've always regarded that as a fools effort to excise frustration of being shot down. However, thats funny that it actually worked...I've never seen it work...much less been hit by anything.

I can't believe you posted a gripe about this. People have trouble shooting others down with a working plane but to shoot someone down while your own plane was in a spin.......I would have to congratulate them. It was a pure fluke probably only happened a few times ever.

Grrrr.... I just knew that I shouldn't trust strangers on the Internet.

This is what happened: I told my dog to report (he knows how to use Internet, he frequents the dog-food discussions forums regularly), gave him the loaded gun, but just when I tried to gnaw on his pawn, the postman showed up at the doorstep (my dog really hates the postman) and the dog shot *him* instead.

Well, anyway, the postman was trying to give me a letter, and he dropped it after the incident. I guess that proves me right, this thing is wrongly modelled in IL2. Everything else is perfect. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif
