After looking at the topic about the captured spit in the Paint Schemes Forum, i did some looking around, and to my suprise i found at

http://www.fleetairarmarchive.net/Aircraft/FAACapturedAircraftHomepage.html

a bit about a Fleet Air Arm Corsair falling into German arms. Anybody have any more info on this? the artists impression seems cool but it would be even better if a reliable paint scheme could be found and would be a great project for one of our tame skinners!

That's a great idea, but I suggest you wear the protective gear anyway ... a lot of those skinners are not tame !!!

Yeah it is interesting but I guess we shall never know what happened to it i guess. Suppose the Germans were not that bothered about the corsair.

I find you are safe with the skinners as long as you keep them distacted by holding a piece of card out at arms length decorated with interesting RLM colours. I find Graublau , Dunkelblau and Gelb work best. You may lose your hand however....
