I know the seax was more a long knife than it was a sword but we all know for honor is drifting ever further from reality. I think it's time for a seax style blade for the warlord.

A sword shaped like a Seax would actually be really cool. Unless of course they cover the entire thing with gold.

I always said the Shaman should have had a Seax rather than a Kukri (which makes no sense at all).

I'd rather they base a new Viking hero off the Seax than give it to the Warlord though.

But the seax was used by warriors like the warlord in the shield wall. Swords were too long once you're shield to shield with an enemy.

This is where it gets strange. Warlord has a sword but actual length is much shorter than it should be, at least based on what I know about Viking swords, which is much. So it would be functional in shield wall although visually it looks like standard, longer sword.
