Settlers IV, Add on- Trojans mission 4- how to set up sea trade routes???

I had created a post earlier but it looks like it was removed. Not sure why.

I'm stuck on Trojans Mission 4. I need to move my tools from one island to another. I have a shipyard and harbor. Built 2 trade ships and I have pioneers on the other island already clearing the land. I can't figure out how to set up a route. I have been clicking all over the other island trying to get this to work and nothing. Am I missing something?

Fast way is taking enough planks and stone to other island with thieves on ferry, for harbor you need only 2 planks and 4 stone because you can get hammer and shovel from geologist and pioneer already on the island. Slower way is sending a foundation cart with good and tools. Remember that there is only trees and stone on that island, no other resources even so told in briefing. You have to transport at least gold, axes, saws and pickaxes. And of course soldiers.
