Would it be possible to clone it, and tweak the clone to have the HeS-011A engines (which would effectively make it an Ar-234D)?

That should give it the speed it needs to stay ahead of the jets coming online in '46. Or at the very least make it harder for them to catch.

Since there is no defence for it other than speed, and since such a version was planned, and since it should just be a code mod, no 3D modeling necessary, I'm hoping this can be done. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also, a slightly more complicated request... since we have MK-103 gunpods on the FW-190A8, could those same pods be added to the Blitz (say on the outer pylons if they are 500Kg or less, or maybe a quick double 103 pod model could be made and slapped in the center)?

The ability to carry either 1 bomb (in the center - up to the 1000Kg) and 2 guns on the outer, or 2 500Kg bombs on the outer and a twin 103 rack in the center would really enhance this aircraft.

I know it's not historical, but not all Ar-234Bs had the rear firing 20mms, yet ours do. And there is *some* precedence as there was a gunpod planned for the night-fighter version.

It's one of the best ground attack planes in the game right now, but it desperately needs some forward firing guns of some kind, at least something heavy enough for trucks and parked planes.

Unless you'd be willing to clone the Go-229 and slap some HeS-011As in that and use those He-162D advanced composites to give it more G-load capacity. That would be even cooler. Although, both would really be ideal. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I disagree. These suggestions are not historical, but there are 100% historical solutions that could be used instead!

I was surprised to learn that the Ar-234B was being included for the 1946 addon.

The actually historically planned and historically in production variant of the arado 234 was the Ar-234C-3. I think 8 were actually produced, and it was planned as the main type by 1946.

It had two forward firing 20mm cannons as well as the two rear cannons. It used 4 BMW engines. Its top speed was 540mph. It had a maximum bomb load of 3000kg, double that of the B-2.

Its a bona-fide 1945 aircraft, although I think only 3 were actually delivered to the luftwaffe, and would be really cool to have had this version in the first place instead of the B-2, but the B-2 is still cool.

Luftwaffe over Czech Territory states about 20 C-3s were built, and at least 2 were delivered to a Luftwaffe unit stationed at Prague-Rusin near the end of the war. It would be a great type to add to the post-May 1945 plane set, but still I'm really happy we got the B-2.

Speaking of the B-2, what does the "/lpr" designation mean?

The C requires a new 3D model. That is not going to happen.

Let's be reasonable, both requests are positives, NOT negatives. Furthermore, they are actually possible in that they require basically no 3D modeling, and potentially are only a quick and easy minor code tweak.

Let's get behind something that could actually happen (as far as the game is concerned), and that would actually be good. I swear to god that 99.9% of all the posts in here are negatives. No wonder Oleg doesn't come around often.

Oh, Dan, and the HeS-011A was planned in place of the Jumo, and it was to be the 234D - not that that matters.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

i know that r= rechweite (sp) thats german for range/extra range. so a stuka with extra range would be designated Ju87R (originally a B2)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Ah yes, it makes sense now.

l: Lofte bomb sight
p: Patin autopilot system
r: Extra range
