So I've been wondering recently if there were any mysteries in this wonderful game from Ubisoft, so I decided to create this thread. I'm certain that we all already know of the Demon Footpad, who haunts Templar Agents in their dreams and in their games, but what other mysteries could this game possibly hold for us? I suppose that you could consider this the "Random Unexplainable **** That Happens in This Game" thread, but my title sounds cooler. Anyways, post the random unexplainable **** that's happened to you in this game, and it might just become one of the 7 wonders.

List of Wonders:

1. Demon Footpad - The true silent killer, the Demon Footpad is the stuff of nightmares. It kills without mercy by tricking its target into approaching it's motionless body. Some say that if it stares at you long enough, you'll die instantaneously not only in the game, but beyond the screen as well... Beware when faced against this menacing soul, for no one has escaped the ever present sound of Justin Beibers "Baby" when in contact with the one, the only, Demon Footpad. (Originally documented by FlailingAmigo)

2. The Warp Tunnel - Located in Castel Gandolfo, there is a mysterious cavern that lies beyond the brick walls of the Castel. An enormous blue void swallows those who are brave enough to venture beyond the realm of reality, and some have even returned. These are the lucky ones. There have been multiple reportings of people who fall into the void infinitely, preventing them from leaving, even when the game timer expires, or even when they turn off and unplug their console. Many have been driven to insanity and taken their own lives due to the endless blue void. Beware when searching this ever famous map, for what lies beyond the void, no one is certain of. But one thing is for sure, you don't want to know what it is. (Originally documented by loomer979, who also happens to be one of the few who've survived this encounter.)

3. The Crying Nobleman - No one is sure of why this phantom hunter sheds tears. Perhaps he took his life after he lost a family member, or lover? Whatever the reason, this creature is equally, if not more demonic than the Demon Footpad. Perhaps this could be the family member or lover that made him take his own life? No one is sure of the relationship they share, except for that they're both murderous psychopaths. It uses its crying to lure in its victims before quickly silencing them permanently. Who, or what, could possibly take the kindness of a person and repay it in kind with their blood? The Crying Nobleman, that's for sure. (Originally documented by Squiiddish)

4. A 3-Dimensional Shadow - Have you ever had someone attached to you? I bet it wasn't like this situation. A conjoined twin, only it's something received after birth. When walking around in the game, it might suddenly freeze, and when you return, you find yourself to be a bit heavier than normal. Instead of gaining a couple of pounds in a matter of seconds, you soon realize you've gained a partner for life, a siamese twin. It eats with you, it sleeps with you, it even kills with you. It's something that'll always have your back, without fail. If you happen to come by this rather unique situation, be sure to share the load, because it can certainly handle it. Getting falconed punched all the way across the map to the map boundary and landing on a building.

The one where you die and your persona has that super seizure animation, like it is squiggling around really fast.

I had a Pariah running in place outside the normal boundary where players can't go for an entire match.

Getting stuck in a wall.

That warp tunnel thing in Castel.

The infamous infinite dodge loop.

Hay bale rejection when poisoned.

The magnetism of walls and hay and bushes and benches.

The crying nobleman. I really like this one as it is very rare.

Maybe you can use one of those?

Oh Oh an the Siamese Twin it has to go on there. It's my fave next to the demon footpad.

It should be number 2! It is rare enough to make the list

My favorite glitch is still the glitch that I will just coin as the "Siamese or Conjoined Twin" glitch. It is when you get another persona stuck to you, it climbs with you or kills with you, basically like a conjoined twin.

A neat one I had a couple of days ago. I got punched, but instead of just falling down, I flew all the way across the map until I hit the boarder, and landed on a rooftop. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I got it a second time yesterday. I desperately grabbed my camera to take a video of the tv, but The game booted me right as I got it turned on.

It is a weird glitch that happens when you get that "network is experiencing difficulties" message, only instead of when the message goes away you would normally just finish out the animation, but when this happens, it actually makes the other persona you were interacting with stick to you. My first time it was an executioner who had his axe stuck in my clavicle. The second time it was a prowler in the neck chop pose following behind me.

The ghost npc is stuck to you like a conjoined twin. If you spin in circles it moves with you, it just basically becomes part of your persona. It is really weird to see in action.

MEDUSA

I was playing on Pienza the other day, and then I noticed my pursuer, The Harlequin standing on a nearby chimney. Luckily, he wasn't facing at me. But then we met a gaze. My mind jumped to the next roof but my body didn't and he scored the +6500 Stoned bonus. I stood there, but eventually killed the Medusa from the talll tower.

another world wonder: doctors face...

a doctor I killed had a weak mask, soo I removed it and the images I saw were unexplainable.

There's also a warp tunnel in Mont St-Michel. I was scared that even if I got out of the void, I'd be doomed to forever be lost on the island.

I'm a survivor.

Lol, Norris, this thread is amazing!

I second the impervious glitch, but it needs a good name. And, I have to add to the Demon Footpad, I was there the first time Amigo experienced him, and I couldn't see him at all. Beiber, I mean. So, he's only visible to his victims. And, any who go near him automatically contract a bad case of Lag AIDS.

Being consumed by walls is interesting. I've seen a couple people stuck in those thin walls in Alhambra. They can see, target, use skills... but they are forever trapped within their walled prison. o_o

I like the glitched VIPs in Escort - I'm ignoring all the booing here. Basically, you are hunting VIPs. You are killed JUST AS YOU kill the VIP. For the rest of that round, VIPs do not respawn, and it turns into a game of impromptu Manhunt with no compasses. I nominate it because it's possible to do this on purpose, and because the frantic no-compass bloodbath that follows is always entertaining.

The Blind Theif- Setting, MSM. I'm hopping around on the roofs in Escort, and OMG a Theif! Wait... A couple of things are wrong with this picture...

1. Of the two teams, neither was a Theif (and I hung around to check if it was a Disgised enemy, it wasn't)

2. So, it's a NPC. On a roof. That's self-explanatory.

3. It was walking into a chimney... and just kept walking, even though it wasn't going anywhere.

The Descent

Going for an air assassination and falling through the floor (target disappears) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif It gives way to the infamous Blue Void. It is impossible to escape, for you cannot fall upward. It grants you the ability to look in any direction, but this is merely a form of torture for you cannot move, and it does not end.

I'd like to expand on this.

The Statue of Man's Doom

This happens when a VIP in Escort mode is about to be air assassinated, but is saved. I show an assassin as he was jumping off a roof in mid-kill animation, and he died. However, the VIP that he was targeting remained in the pose that you do right before you are killed from the air. For the rest of the round, no new VIPs spawned and the "statue" remained there.

Well, weīve all seen people stuck partly in the wall, but Iīve spent an entire round of manhunt in between the walls of Castel Gandolfo. I accidently charged through the wall and half of my character stuck in the wall. My teammate wanted to charge me out but suddenly I was in between the walls of the second floor in the main wing. I could wander around freely and my camera could move through the walls, I could use my abilities but I couldnīt get out anymore.
Itīs pretty grey in there...

And something more common:
I had a round of manhunt in which I didnīt belong to any team. I could kill nobody and nobody could kill me. I just walked aroung rome and enjoyed a nice sightseeing tour^^

The Invisible Bicycle

Sometimes, you can see NPC's sitting on thin air, but every now and then it affects players too, and it's pretty funny to see someone sliding on the air like they're riding an invisible bicycle.

Edit: It's Dimensional, not Demensional.
