I reinstalled Il2FB - AEP - PF - on my HD to have a clean view of the programm.
I report the main command line from Dgen file

MaxBomberSkill=3
distance=Any
Length=VeryLong
AI=Normal
Missions=Normal
AirIntensity=Medium
GroundIntensity=Medium

As you can see syntax has been changed:
in FB we used for MissionDistance a numerical value between 20-200 km.

No one know how to modify that?

I tryed
distance=far
distance=near
with no result.

And why no more the RandomFlights command line?

From the new DGEN Beta 3.11 readme:

Tuning dynamic campaign generator
---------------------------------------------------

In accordance with your preferences and configration, you can place the following lines in file conf.ini
(all case sensitive):

1. Preferred distance to target

MissionDistance=nn, where nn is your preferred distance to target in kilometers. For instance:

MissionDistance=80

The request is not guaranteed to be fulfilled, if there are no suitable targets within the distance +/-30%,
any target may be selected.

By default any target may be picked up.

2. Difficulty

CampaignDifficulty=Easy
CampaignDifficulty=Hard

The default difficulty is medium

Changes your and enemy AI level

3. Air and ground intensity

AirIntensity=Low
AirIntensity=High
GroundIntensity=Low
GroundIntensity=High

Changes number of ground targets of opportunity, number and size of flight groups

Default air and ground intensity are medium

Yep - same here. All mine says is:

Whats new:

1. Iwo, Chichi, Okinawa, Wake operations added to USMC career.
2. New Guinea aded to USAAF career.
3. Midway removed as USAAF operation.
4. Some plane choices are changed.
5. P-38 can be used in Japan 1945 operation

Some of fixes and improvements in this version:

1. Wrong objects in final missions in case of PF stand alone install
2. Wrong airfield in New Guinea
3. Crashes in mountains in New Guinea.
4. Crash in second Midway mission when using Hard campaign difficulty
5. Collisions of Rufe at Iwo when using High Air Intensity
6. Wrong objects on some maps.
7. Guadalcanl NGen campaign did not work when selecting Hellcats as bombers.
8. Occasional start on water when moving to Iwo map
9. Text corrections

Same here. I don't know where I got it from (can't remember) but possibly not a good thing to have different "versions" floating about.

Cheers,
Norris

The tuning readme is in the Dgen folder in the game folder. It is called Dgen readme.

Are you sure Dgen-readme is PF related and not
il2FB related
