Having problems with my Optical drives lately.

For some reason everytime Windows boots up it resets my auto run value in the system registry to zero. I'm forever having to change this and I'm getting tired of doing it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Anyone have any ideas as to how to remedy this problem?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Where is the system registry and how do you reset it from zero so the autorun works?

I have had a coupel of autorun issues, not limited to SHIII either.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Hah! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Sorted!

I'm really quite daft at times, I had been modifying the wrong ControlSet directory http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I remember doing this before and I was going from memory, I guess I was too lazy to look up Microsoft's remedy to the problem http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blush.gif

Anyway, here is Microsoft's answer
