View Full Version : [BUG] Misaligned sights

Well i basically made this kind of thread a while ago already and while some got fixed (Mk17 with ACOG being one i am particularly happy about), there are still quite a few weapons with misaligned sights.
The red dot represents where the weapon is actually shooting, vs the sight. Starting with the ones i posted last time:

.357 Joker, this one is particularly far off, the sight is kinda trying to hide it by moving the middle bit a little to the right, but it's still ways off and makes it look even worse.

Stampede, same here with the sight trying to hide it. This one isn't as far off, but being a sniper rifle, you want to use it at longer ranges

M16, this one i don't get. It shoots way beneath where you'd aim, forcing you to awkwardly aim with the center, instead of the tip. It's basically having do adjust as if the enemy was at 200+m away, while they are still right in your face.

L115A3 with the T5Xi sights, similar to above, you shoot way beneath where the crosshair is.

Some less egregious, but that still would be nice to be fixed (among others):

Now this last one requires a bit of explanation, usually, the G28 scope is aligned for 200m, as in it'll shoot in the center at 200m, but instead on the PSG-1, it'll hit the center at 100, making this one behave weirdly different than the others. Otherwise, the scope is perfectly aligned.

I think that G28 was accidentally aligned to 200m :) Stampede used to shoot way higher and they fixed it to the current version which is still terrible. Every freaking pistol shoot low. There are still so many problems with sights and optics but sadly they don't seem to be a priority.

The IRL G28 is aligned for 200m, so I think it's intentional (PSG-1 not following this pattern aside). Gives it a bit of uniqueness.

I appreciate you taking the time to create these images. I will pass them onto the Ghost Recon team for review.
