If you think that's bad, you should see what I've got under my desk. You could lose an anaconda in there... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Edit -----

Is that a lava lamp, SuperJew?

Way too much dust on my desk to be taking pictures of it. Lots of post-it notes though.

As for cables, my right foot has been ensnared for about 3 weeks now,

3 Weeks.

You were lucky.

I was trapped for a month once, had to survive on old pizza crumbs on the floor.

I'm not free yet.
As for food, all I've had is a fur-ball the cat coughed up sometime during the second week.

Jeez, WholeHog, that is some setup. Only thing is, you've clearly forgotten the crowbar, and the pouch for pipe and tobacco (See left side of Spit cockpits)...

Well she is a work in progress. So I will consider that as an addition down the road http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I built it before I got married and I haven't been able to work on it as much as I did before. I have a few additions I would like to make at some point and clean up some of the wiring. I would like to do what SuperJew did and have the panels laser etched, at least I believe thats what he did, but I would have to get everything layed out the way I wanted it first and I am always changing things.

The hard part was finding a woman that was OK with the idea of a grown man having a flight simulator in the house!!! I dont think I could have pulled it off after the fact.

My wife flew in it about once and that was enough for her but we had a party for some of her co-workers at our house a while back and all the guys were in there all night long http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

My step daughter likes to sit on my lap while I fly. Shes my navigator and tells me where I should fly and pushes the map button when i get lost http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I am sure it is geeky, but its a whole boat load of fun!! And for myself and most of us over the age of 40, we don't care about what other people think of us any way. as evidenced by this picture of me.

We are all geeks in one form or another if we play flight sims. If one were to see me on the street they most likely would not think this blue collar roofer who loves MMA and BJJ was into "geeky" things. Ooh but I am...Im full of geek inside! And that is what counts! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey WholeHawg.. do those switches & wheels work? Do you use device link?

Hey Wholehog, I don't understand why you would go through all that trouble and not use a multimonitor setup? You only have 1 flight view screen, what's up with that? Buy another 2 LCD and you'll have a sweet panorama.
