I for one do not share the views that I see expressed here. I am very glad that the RC was released to us to experiment with the new aircraft and have a chance to post feedback.

I for one think that we were given ample time to test this great product. I also am ashamed of fellow pilots who have no understanding and choose to attack you over such a minor things.

People here fail to recognize that in no other game would they be given opportunities to discuss features of the game with the developers like you have done.

It is ashamed to see such outrageous finger pointing that occurs in the forum.

Granted, the leak b version was out of your hands, and you did the right thing and released the RC to the public to help with the confusion. This was a great move to the community, and was still met with negatism.

I hope you remember to filter our the ugly from the good in these forums - as I want and greatly appreciate the things you are doing for my favorite game!

Best Regards

I also feel the way these guys do. All this nonesense is crazy...I love the beta patch. I've had a fantastic time with it, submitted a few bugs and some critique. It has served its purpose...horay for all of that!

Yes, thank you very much Oleg!

Let's do an IL2/FB comparison, shall we?

IL2/FB: $40.00 US Dollars (When first released)

Now, here in the US I can take my family out to see a two hour movie with popcorn on a Friday night and spend about $40.00.

I can go to an adult beverage establishment (Bar) and easily spend $30.00, but then I have to contend with my wife when I get home.

Sure my wife gets a little ticked if I fly too much, but not nearly as bad as she would get if I were out drinking with my buddies on the weekends!

Now add in the intangibles like meeting great people in the sim community (All except Leadspitter /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif - JK my friend!).

I think you can see where this is going...

All in all, IL2/FB is the best entertainment per dollar I think I have ever spent!

This sim is a blast. It's fun, it's frustrating, it's challenging, it's relaxing, and it's realistic, all in one neat little package.

We have an unbelievable relationship with the developer, get absolutely free add-ons and patches, and have a real hands-on feeling in the evolution of this sim.

Nothing in the gaming world can compare to IL2!

We owe that all to you Oleg. You can count on my patronage toward all of your future creations!

Hats off to you 1C Maddox. It always amazed me the toleration of the development team towards the community, especially when the whiners were screaming bloody murder.

I agree with almost all your points except 2, Fehler.

1. I paid $69.00 Australian dollars, any other PC game is $30.00 more. I bought Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, I took it back and replaced it for IL2-Sturmovik FB, I'm so glad I did.
2. I asked for more torque and gyro effects, and we are going to get it, "Way to Go", Oleg, ~S~ /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
