Hey everyone, Buck from RedLynx here!

We’ve had a busy couple of days here! We had a Legendary season reset, balance changes and the first ever 24 hour event! There were a few ‘hiccups’ during the season reset as there were some issues with the pack configurations, but after some investigating, all users did in fact, get the correct rewards!

What occurred was a compatibility issue between the Race to Legendary Reward and the brand new Season Finale system (which some of you saw yesterday). Some players received their Race to Legendary card pack simultaneously with their Legendary rewards, so only that pack showed as opening, despite the contents of both packs being added to the player’s inventory.

An additional issue arose wherein some players did not receive the appropriate currencies - this was detected and corrected for all users. We have confirmed that all eligible players have received the appropriate rewards as of this time.

We’ve also adjusted the rank tiers within Legendary, so if you’re in there now, you can check those out to see the new tiers. Going forward the season resets are scheduled for the first week of the month, likely on the first Tuesday. As of the time of this Developer Update, the season ends in 26 days and 20 hours. So get to Legendary as soon as possible and get your LSR up!




THIS WEEK

BEWARE OF MANBEARPIG

This week, we’ll be having a team event that will be a token collection event - players will be able to gain points by collecting tokens found in PvP lockers and PvP packs.

This weekend’s event will run from Thursday/Friday* (UTC) to Monday (UTC). **Start date is still TBD, but we are hoping for Thursday. Just make sure to join your team ASAP! **

As you collect points, you’ll be able to unlock various prize card packs. The reward tiers and point values can be found below.

NEXT WEEK

24 HOUR EVENT
We had our first 24 hour event this week, which was Adventure Themed! Next week we’ll be continuing that! Our next 24 hour event will start on Tuesday (UTC), and will be Mystical themed. The prizes will also consist mostly of Mystical upgrade items.



We also wanted to congratulate the community run, unofficial subreddit for reaching 15,000 subscribers! (http://old.reddit.com/r/southparkphone) Due to this important milestone for the awesome community on that platform, and to show our love and appreciation, we’ll be giving every player in South Park: Phone Destroyer a gift sometime this week! If you haven’t checked out that community, or the brand new unofficial community over on /r/SPPD (https://old.reddit.com/r/SPPD/), you should definitely do it! They’re awesome places to chat with other players, share deckbuilding and gameplay tips and find teams to join.

THIS MONTH
This month, there will be an update that will fix more known issues, and have some gameplay changes and improvements.

One interesting change coming is that card cycling will be being modified for all players. We have heard community feedback around card cycling, and after testing a few different ideas, we believe we have come up with a proper, simple solution. This will be game-changing, and emphasize strategy far more strongly. Rather than the more random current version of card cycling, now each unit which is killed will be placed at the “bottom” of your deck. In this way, card cycling will be far more predictable, and will allow players to build and revise their strategies around it.

We’ll have more info for all of you about this update as we get further along in the process of bug-fixing, testing, and validation.

Yes ! Finally ! Thank you for this update, now it will be more strategic. It was very frustrating to kill a strong card and see it coming back right after
