View Full Version : AC Black Flag: New 2018 Strategies for Multiple Ship Take-Downs, and 6 Pirate Hunters

APRIL 4, 2018 - I may be the only one still playing AC Black Flag, but it's my favorite AC, so I've seen and done things that few others have seen, I think. The more you understand how the game works, the more you can work within that framework to exploit it and win. The two best things I've figured out is how to induce the game to generate as many as SIX pirate hunters at once, and I've managed to trap and take all six in the same trap, single-handed.

The other strategy I've come up with is what I call "Kenway's Web" which allows me to trap and take as many as ten or twelve ships in a specific area, and using each ship to block certain narrow shipping lanes to trap the next. In both cases, it is accomplished by strategy and by taking each ship alone, single-handed, and killing every sailor on board each ship, and leaping or swimming from one ship to the next. You don't use the Jackdaw or it's cannons, and you don't sink the ships you take; by taking all the ships alone, by hand, they remain in the way of oncoming ships, and create "Kenway's Web", allowing you to pause the next ship long enough to snare it too. Eventually the game stops generating new ships, but by then, you have a lot of ships in your "web", and can then harvest them, one at a time, by ramming or cannon fire.

- I've got some unbelievable pics, but this forum wants URLs instead of allowing me to upload them. If anyone is still playing this and wants to know how to make this game do some amazing stuff, and wants to see pics, message me and I'll post my strategies.
