View Full Version : Suggestion - Revenge while being ledged.

In addition to revenge's current mechanics adding this addition function.

You're being guardbroken, shoved or attacked by a ledge, you pop revenge, they fall down, fight continues.

You're being guardbroken, shoved or attacked by a ledge, you pop revenge, you still get thrown/knocked off, but you pull the guard-breaker down with you.
The 'ledger' should be penalized with additional "execution" death penalty.
The hero who popped revenge should have a shorter penalty.

-If this is an 'instant death' ledge you get to kill them and penalize them for ledging.
-If this is not an 'instant kill' ledge you will survive the fall with revenge, while the person that got pulled with you will die (probably).
-This discourages ledging especially when ganging up on a victim.
-This encourages saving revenge for that moment if you're near a ledge.

-You dead.
-There are several weird attacks that probably wouldn't fit animation wise to grab the attacker and pull them with you such as conq's running shield bash.

Thanks for sharing the suggestion, Tom_Tom08! In-game, we don't make efforts to reinforce certain playstyles over others. Getting ledged can certainly be annoying, but mistakes have to have been made for that to happen in the first place. I'd love to hear other players thoughts on Tom_Tom08's suggestion. :)

This is a hard one to decide on, Im curious on how everyone else feels too... If this does happen, both sides should have the same respawn time imo, as they both fell off the ledge.

I honestly feel like if a Conq uses running shield bash into spikes or ledges, they should kill themselves. Same with Wardens shoulder bash. (Only if they whiff it, of course)
