I saw at the www.mudmovers.com (http://www.mudmovers.com) a FAQ about the things CHDT asked oleg. In the "luftwaffe weapons and planes" or something like that, he asked oleg why wouldn't be possible to adjust the seat of the plane. Oleg said there would be lots of commands, because along with the seat you would have to adjust the revi degree and synchronize with the guns. Then i thought: why don't making a screen, just like aircraft customization, but called "cockpit customization" where you could adjust the seat, revi and synchronize the guns (maybe with a big bullseye in the front of the plane, making possible to move the bullseye closer-farther from the cockpit, and testing accuracy with "fake" bullets. A laborous job for the pilot arranging it, but a good choice for all the FW pit whiners

So what do you think? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Great idea.

Why not have a button for Realistic view/Unrealistic view. In the unrealistic view you would have no bar. This way the die hards can keep the bar, not that I think there would be any./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Well buzzu, i still defend my idea because it would let you make other types of customization( putting mirrors in the cockpit to check your six for example)
I see the 109 is back on the sig /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Your way sounds like a lot of work for Oleg, and probably has no chance of getting done. Removing the bar might be something we could actually get.

the cockpit customization sounds pretty neat, but i wouldn't count on it for this sim. maybe in the next one we could ask.

My God, would this be the proverbial Holy Grail! Oleg would be satisfied because he could keep his current Fw-190 cockpit, and all the senselessly tenacious view complainers would be able to tweak the visibility to their liking. I would gladly welcome it.

Sounds like a big piece of work, though.

The problem would be the amount of work to invest in this little idea of mine /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
But a config setting "realistic/unrealistic cockpit" would be great and simpler /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

olegs wrong on this one i must admit, if you look at his photos the fuselage is laying on the ground, if you look at the photos that proved him wrong its on a wooden frame to show what the view was in level flight. I do like the idea of the seperate mode for lining up the gun sight convergences along with up verticle adjustments, seat adjustments etc. But its alot of work and fb sold the majority of copies so I doubt it, maybe other sims in the future
