I have just got a new CH Combatstick USB. The current installation of PF will not recognize the new stick. Just defaults to key board.

Is there a trick to getting PF to pick up my new stick? Thanks in advance.

Go to:

Start/All Programs/Ubisoft/PF/Setup

Open 'Joystick' tab

Put a check mark in 'Use Joystick'.

Thanks for the reply. I had already tried that. The use joystick is checked. Any other options/thoughts.

When you click on Game controllers in Control Panel(classic View) does it show up?

Look in your control panel at your game controllers. If the CH stick isn't in the number 1 slot, that's your problem. The game is just not seeing your new stick as controller 1.

Go to to controls in the game menu and scroll down to Hotas section. Click on the pitch axis and pull back on the stick. It should assign an axis, it will say something like x axis ID 2 (or some other number) unless it really doesn't see the stick, which I doubt. The choose roll, and move the stick right. Go fly and see if they work correctly. If the controls work opposite of the way they are supposed to, go back and reassign them, this time moving the stick in the opposite way that you did the first time.
