For example the actor who plays general Mohnke in "Downfall" plays Nazi judge Roland Freisler in "Sophie Scholl".

This was just Nominated today in the best foreign film catagory. I'm excited, but it won't start showing in the USA until March and then only in small art house theaters.

So I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Have you seen it...how does it compare to "Downfall" ? I read it has the same realistic and time feel to it. And the lead actress apparently does an outstanding job.

No havent seen it yet.

Sadly i have no time for the cinema at the moment so it can happen that you will have the chance to see it even sooner than i.
