We used to have one of those on the north side of Houston. The site was leveled years ago and now a Home Depot sits on some of the land. I miss the Good Year blimp flying overhead all the time. Info about it. (http://www.airfields-freeman.com/TX/Airfields_TX_Houston_NW.html)

The Goodyear blimps fly over Akron all the time. Sometimes you see a group. There's also the Outback Steakhouse and MetLife blimps occasionally.

Unfortuneatly, most of Mesa doesn't look like that pic anymore.

It's mostly miles and miles of houses, shopping centers and golf courses. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Still it is unlikely that I will ever have to deal with snow measured in feet again http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

The home of watered down tastless beer and a half buried coat hanger (AKA the Arch). A nice blue collar town in all seriousness.

Whoa, I've driven that highway around center-bottom in the photo to Galveston. Texas Air Museum is nearby, NASA is along the way. Ate at a Mexican restaurant near the Air Museum that was right on that Gulf Front Road. Fabulous Mexican seafood. I wonder if it survived the Hurricane?

Yea it did, went east. Was a freak show with everyone trying to scram out of the area. More people died in the evacuation than anything else....
We just went out for higher ground to Crosby to a friend's house.
Had a generator running with a fridge and a fan going, got well wasted, for some reason there was a shortage of water but not of beer. I did not even wake up till it was all over the next day.
Anyways the dude's neighbor of were we stayed had some house damage still, lots of trees out there in that area.
