Check this site out. I could break Howard Hughes if I ordered everything that caught my eye over there.

Try this.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001GNJK6/qid.../026-7205111-4358825 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001GNJK6/qid=1134941435/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-7205111-4358825)

It's colour footage of an actual Lanc raid on Berlin. "There are no actors. It's the real thing."

Browse through the pages of 'Flypast'. Lots of goodies and inspiration there this time of year. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

Somehow I get a bad feeling with that combination:

Excellent suggestion!!
I ordered the very same from Play.com the other day. Been looking for it for a while now. Incidently it is only 11.99 delivered from Play.
Best regards.

The Big Red One Reconstructed (1980)

This is the way Sam Fuller meant for his WW2 drama to be viewed before the Hollywood hacks edited it w/o his permission. broke Fullers heart that he wasn't able to make the movie he wanted. This is the real deal with lots of previously edited content added.

633 squadron (little escapist)

Cruel Sea (nearly picked that one up myself in tesco's)

Band of Brothers boxed set (great stuff)

Oh And my all time favourite

The World at War (Documentary - Lawrence Olivier Narates) Little dated now and some of the information is off target due to the enigma machine info still being classified at the time of filming, but its chock full of ww2 film footage and is a must have for any ww2 history buff.

Oh and Hero's of Telemark (again its been holywoodiesed but its got snow in it) Plan to visit the Factory the next time I get over to Norway if I have time.

Battle of Britain (of course no list would be complete with out it)

There are just so many and if your prepared to put up with some ridiculous inacuracies in some then you could be sorted for years to come let alone christmas

Either way happy hunting

Also, while I think of it. "Downfall" I thought was an astonishing German film subtitled in English. It follows Trudi Junge into Hilter's bunker in the last few days of the Third Reich, whilst the Russian army close in around them. I think I would recommend anyone to watch this harrowing film.
Best wishes.
