Is health bar forced in survival mode?

First off, thank you Ubi for finally allowing us to disable the entire HUD, including all those annoying interactive prompt pop-ups for gathering items, searching bodies, climbing/grappling points.

Anyway, can anyone please tell me if we're forced to have the health bar on screen when playing is survival mode, or can it be disabled like it can for normal mode?

You can turn it off in the MENU SCREEN —-> INTERFACE
