if the 109Z took so few resources to make, and was so relativly easy to do....

why not EVERY type in FB "Zwilling'd"?

im sure that many, many, types in FB were "proposed" or given some thought to being twinned, just as the FB 109Z ( a "proposed" G based model, instead of the one-off, never flown RL 109Z F-based model)

a spit Z, anyone?

a double-doubleU-winged corsair Z?

a La7 6x B20 Z to increase the noobishness by a factor of two!

a twin mustang? (oops, hehe..nbevermind)

hmmm the Do-335 Z....actually, there WAS, in RL, a "proposed Do-335 Zwilling....honest!
there was also a "proposed" Zerstorer version of Do-335 with 4x Mk 103s...hmm 335 Z with 8x mk 103s....of course, this would HAVE to be called the Do-335 Z "1C"

yea, yea.....its a boring saturday afternoon, gimme a break!

hmm...any nice photoshoppers out there who will tickle us with various "twins", please?

the twin stang is actually not a twin at all - it has a 10% parts similarity with the p-51 and thats all. Its because its one and a half times bigger - its a new airplane - NOT twined p51 fuselages..

It doesn't stop it from being ugly as sin. And the constructors seem to have failed in the most important aspect: It still has those ridiculous M2 pea-shooters.

I can't believe you folks have never heard of this before! From the "Mustangs Forever" website:

The USAF actually experimented with several versions of "multi-fuselage" aircraft, leading ultimately up to the F-82. Of particular note was the FX-484. (Only one prototype built) 24 - .50 caliber machine guns and a bomb load equal to the B-29!! Testing was abruptly terminated after a crash resulted in the destruction of the center structures and gave the designers the idea for the F-82:
