Agents, incoming State of the Game transmission:

During the last State of the Game (https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/news/152-317192-16/state-of-the-game-january-11th-2018), Community Developers Petter Mårtensson and Yannick Banchereau confirmed the start date for Global Event Ambush and showcased community content.

This week, Yannick is joined by Petter with a State of the Game focused on community content and the reveal of the masks available in Ambush.

If you missed the stream, you check out the VoD (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/219828717).

Global Event 4: Ambush is starting on Tuesday, January 23rd and will run for one week. The Classified sets that will release with the event are as follows:

Hunter's Faith
Tactician's Authority

During the Global Event, you will be able to get your hands on these unique masks by completing Global Event commendations.

Best of luck out there, agents!

An Ubisoft wide maintenance will occur on Monday, 22nd of January. During this time, the game might be unavailable or you might experience connectivity issues. You can find more details and exact times on the Official Forum. You will be able to keep up to date on the maintenance via our official Twitter (https://twitter.com/TheDivisionGame).

In this week’s State of the Game, we took the opportunity to highlight some of the great community content that you produce.

RetroHurricane (https://twitter.com/RetroHurricane/status/952383063744397312) shared his depiction of a friendly neighborhood sleeper agent, named Connor. Wielding a ballistic shield and a shotgun, he is prepared to answer the call when the time comes!

We have a lot of talented Cosplayers in our community and MiguelMando141 (https://twitter.com/MiguelMando141/status/951972370482368512) is no different. His SHD agent outfits is superb and the mirror-effect adds an artistic touch.

On the flip side, SplinterShield (https://twitter.com/Shieldsauce/status/952297156857270272)’s Hunter outfit is sure to strike fear into agents who have strayed too far into the Underground. It seems like the Hunter’s upgraded their axes!

Division agent Frostie (https://twitter.com/Frostie_4/status/950771565884559361)shared a series of photos of him on deployment in New York, protecting the helpless in the chaos the dollar flu caused.

Even SHD agents need to wind down and have some fun from time to time, as Enrique Barthe shows in his video where an agent is showing off his wicked dance moves in the club.

In Eddy Happy Vikings video, a Dark Zone rope cut is narrated by none other than Sir David Attenborough. Is there anything that isn’t more interesting when narrated with his soothing voice?

Lone Wolf Entertainment has made it his mission to uncover all the great street art hiding in plain sight on the streets of Manhattan. The video series showcases some of his favorite pieces scattered around the city.

Many community members have also been showcasing the game's graffiti pieces through the #DivisionGraffitiMonday (https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=%23DivisionGraffitiMonday) hashtag on Twitter.

Lt. Buzz Litebeer (https://twitter.com/LtBuzzLitebeer) is a content creator who has created a series of informal videos about the game’s previous updates. These videos entitled “Back to the Past” allow the viewer to travel through the games soon to be 2 year history.

Last but certainly not least, Agent Max (https://twitter.com/WildMax10)’s creative mind put together a song titled "Bourbon: Faye's Theme" coupled with cinematic scenes from the game.

As always, be sure to join us over on the Official Forums (http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/498) or on the community Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/) if you’re looking for a place to discuss all things related to The Division.

Until next time!

dear ubi soft and dear "the devision" team ...

i doubt u will read this at all, nor even have the balls to answer it.
farmost, sorry for my bad english ^^

i dont know where to start, ther is a lot i have to say about the game, his problems, and about the state of game, and how u handle it.
ubi soft as a company has a verry bad reputation, since years, in the list of the bad reputation ubi soft is not far behind electronic arts.
as a company i can understand 2 points : making money, and doing all to make money.
but when u released the devision , and announced that there will be updates patches, and content.u basicaly agreed silently to stick with the community who is playing this game, and was or even is paying for it.
this leads me to 2 verry verry important ,but verry different topics .
nr1: the community.
nr2: your way to stick to it.

nr1 :
the community is a verry big part of a game and a big part for a company to earn money.
the community in TD is full of streamer, players who are better, and who are worse, some undertsand the game better than others.
and they are from arround the world.some are kind, some are idiots.
when the TD-team wants to stick to the community, and is so happy and proud about them, as they claim to be. than i have to ask u

why u ***** slap us ?
why u waist our time ?
why u dont listen to us ?
why u dont answer the most important questions the community has ?

your way to stick to the community, is by far the most and biggest failure i have seen in the past 15 years of online gaming.
and i play a lot of online games.
u create a "state of the game".. where trash talking, and time waisting is the top topic.
u do not dare to answer any questions to the community.
there is absolutly 0 reaction from the TD-team in the forum.
there is no support for customers who payed for your produkt.
there is absolutly 0 ongoing communication between the team, and the community.
there is no step to see from your side to change all of this.
what u do is :
u realse content and claim it to be superior and a step forward ...
that 90% of your community dosent think like that, u dont want to see, hear, or even know about it.

your last state of game was such a hugh ***** slap to all players.
u prefer to trash talk 15 mins before the stream starts
u keep trash talking after it starts for more 20 mins.u put out 3 information picks to the community, and thats it.
than u start posting and showing crappy community stuff a 6 year old could have done .
u keep smiling like : omg i have to smile or they get it wrong cuz i cant tell them the truth ..

since GE 1 there are questions arround the forum, twitter, u totaly ignore .
why are buyable exotics in the loottable and get dropped from enemies ?
why some exotics dropp more often than others ?
why a global event last only 1 week instead of 2 ?
why there is no ongoing to the story of the game ?
why are non classified set items are in the GE boxes, when we can farm them arround every corner in the game ?
why there are not ONLY classiefied items in the large GE boxes ?
why there are so many hackers and botters still arround in the DZ, and dont get punished ?
why others are able to make movies about them, can do a 3 hours stream LIVE while they fight against these ppl ? and nothing happens ?
and there are many more questions, i just had them in mind now, from 3 days of reading the forum.

u know all this questions, and u know how the community think about it, but u.. u dont care....
u just wonder why to the GE times players appear on your server, and 1 week later why they are gone..
u wonder why to patch/update release times u have more players, and some days after u have less ...
u plan to do TD-2 .....even with all those problems the game already have, will have, and will never get over them, untill u start to do something.
ok, from company site i can understand, if u think/say and act like :
ok the ship is unken, so wtf ... we build a next one and let it sink later again to build a 3rd one.....
and all **** we didnt had for ship 1 we pack into 2.. and all we didnt had in ship2 we pack into the 3rd one...

u know what ?
its not u, who is still trying to get the car out of the dirt.. its us.. the community.. the players who still buy and play the game, the ones who still try to tell u, and ask u, and try to contact u
the ones who still finding buggs, buggs who got reported already 2 years ago and are still in game.

there are 2 ways u have for this game

stop doing any content and leave it like it is now.
start listening to the community, and start to accept there opinion, and start to interakt with them.

TD is a great game, with a great setting in a great town. the story is realy awesome, i like this game and i still play it like many others, maybe i dont have the same reasons like others to play it, but i still do^^ for me, the winter and christmas setting is something that keeps me playing.

hopefully u will read this, and rethink about some stuff u are doing regarding TD.

I think is time to change SoTG name to something more appropriate, don't you think so?
I can press play on youtube and watch these clips by myself i don't need someone else to press play. at least not yet... Maybe after few global events when my arms won't work any more.
