View Full Version : PC Ubisoft Support = Worst Customer Support ever

After almost a month of talking to seven representatives on http://support.ubi.com and one representative on Twitter, I still can't access the online features of Far Cry 3, simply because they don't want to issue a key for the game.

The first FOUR representatives asked me the same thing over and over again (follow the FAQ, forward ports, disconnect antivirus/firewall) which, of course, gave no results whatsoever. Then came the fifth representative who claimed that he escalated the question...

Apparently, the question wasn't escalated as well as I thought, because after two weeks, nobody seemed to care about it. So I wrote on Twitter. And somebody from Ubisoft Support Twitter account told me that (BANG!) Far Cry 3 online services have been terminated long time ago.

But, according to this post here: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1241617-Online-Services-Update-Masterlist-Forums the only Far Cry game that had its online services terminated, is the first Far Cry. Information confirmed by the SIXTH Ubisoft Support representative (RitaC, you were my ray of hope) which offered to issue me a key.

But, RitaC disappeared, and with her disappeared my chance to get Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition working normally. Because today I was messaged by DiogoL who simply told me that "Unfortunately the download version of the game has no key and it cannot be replaced."

This means that Ubisoft sells a game that's not even fully working and doesn't give a dime about the customers that invest in their games. I want my money back. Or a game that works.

Fortunately, after writing today to the Ubisoft Support on Facebook, they issued a key for the base game. I can now log in and play. Have to find a way to link the deluxe to the base...
