S~ All. I just want to say thank you to all of you who stopped by the Warbirds of Prey server " Birds of Prey " and helped us run tests and gave feedback. Because of your help we will be able to further fine tune the server. Currently we are offering a Battle of Britain scenerio. The current settings are Cockpit on, minimap, limited icons, speedbar and no externals. We will be introducing rotating maps shortly and a second test server. Any ideas that you may have concerning missions are welcomed. Our main concern now is seeing what the Warbirds of Prey server can do. From what we know so far from the server is that it's not breaking a sweat. This is just with seventeen persons in the server. Persons living on the east coast of the US are showing pings in the low teens-40s. Persons in the Mid west had pings between the 40s- and 60s. The west coast reported where showing pings between the 60s and mid 100s There were a few high pings on the server (0ver 300) but they were not reporting any lag and they had very smooth gameplay. There was even one person who had a 900 ping and they still reported smooth gameplay and no lagg at all. This same indvidual realized later that there was something else running in the background. We at Warbirds of Prey invite all of you to come and help us run further tests on the server. We would like to see what she will do with a full house. However this is only just one server. This server has the potential to host a couple of hundred. The Birds of Prey server will be up and running for more tests this evening.
Just a little background on the server: The server is a dual xenon with four gigs of ram It's colocated in NYC on a 10mbs unmetered conection.

Thanks again

Osirisx.....it was alot of fun last night in the server. Iit ran smooth as silk and was a blast trying to fly those FW190 with the terrible cockpit view and twitchy setings. LOl I feel for all you FW drivers. I had forgotten how bad it is.
