I was just wwondering if any attempts would be made to differentiate between these models which actually flew in the early Pacific theatre versus the the P-39N and P-40E we have in FB now? In the case of the 39 I think this would display the difference between the USAAF's view of this plane versus the VVS's opinion.

You'll get quite a few new variants of existing planes in PF. P-39D, P-400 and P-40B are certainly a part of the plan.

That's some of the best news yet. Those planes are really sorely missed from FB at the moment.

For me, thats the best news yet. Can't wait to see the P-40b. Here's hoping it will get a map to fly over, Rangoon, Kunming, Port Moresby, I'm not choosy http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif . You got me looking forward to it now Luthier, thanks.

Ditto on the P-400! Guadalcanal and Port Moresby, here we come! (Providing we don't have to go above 10,000 feet anyway)
