Great site. If you like WWII aviation art (don't we all!) check out the book "Flying Aces" by James H. Kitchens and Bernard C. Nalty. It's usually on sale at Barnes and Noble before Xmas (Hardcover on sale costs less than softcover version).Great paintings by Stan Stokes and many other artists with good backgrond pieces on the pilots, planes and events featured. Metrobooks-ISBN 1-58663-561-1

Awesome book, I especially like the stories that accompany the paintings. I would definatly recommend this to anyone if you're into WWII art.

"Son, never ask a man if he is a fighter pilot. If he is, he'll let you know. If he isn't, don't embarrass him."
Badges!? We don't needs no stinkin' badges!

While he is better known for his motor sports paintings Michael Turner has done some great work.

Can't recall the title but the Gladiator engageing Italian bombers over Malta is a beauty.
