Hi, sorry mods. i know its OT but this forum must be the best place i know to find what i'm looking for.

I need to find a book that specialises in the FW 190 D9. Does anyone know of such books, i have found plenty on FW's in general but i already have those i now need a specialised book on the D9. Any help is most appreciated.

For good info on the Fw 190D-9, I can recomend "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Long Nose" By Dietmar Hermann, it focuses on the Longnosed variants, from prototypes to the finished D-9, aswell as D-11/12/13 and so on.
AFAIK, there's no book solely on the D-9, so this book is probably the best one out there.

Another recomendation, a pricy one, but IMO well worth it.

"Green Hearts, First In Combat With Whe "Dora-9".

Not a technical data book but an excellent compendium on the men who flew and fought in this machine.

Looks like I'll have to get a second job to support my Fw190 reading habit. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Those are pricey!
