If someone installs the 'ace' expansion pack and then hosts a coop/dogfight on hyperlobby, what will happen if a player with the normal version (1.22final) tries to join the game? What about vice-versa; can an 'ace' player join version 1.22final servers?

Can the dedicated server run with the expansion pack included?

If there will be a mixture of servers in HL, how will we know which ones are compatible and which ones aren't?

As far as multiplayer goes, they will be two seperate games. (FB 1.22 players will not be able to join Aces games). I'm sure they will be listes as seperate games on HyperLobby and UBI.com as well

Ace Expansion pack is reportedly version 1.3 of Forgotten Battles. So there will be no compatibility between the two.

I expect most of the online community will quickly switch...it'll be crazy for probably 4 weeks while people all get the expansion pack in their various countries but I'm sure that will subside.

Monetary concerns aside...there's little reason NOT to buy AEP http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Monetary concerns aside, there's no reason not to buy anything at all. But then maybe that's why you added the http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif .
