Okay, I've killed everyone in the complex, which looks like a temple and has civilians walking around, but it's labeled a "bandit raid" when Reda gives it to you. I can "see" all the guys I need to kill and loot I need to get, but it's all underground. I've had Senu up circling, I've actually walked around the bandit area, in every single door, every shed, outside and at surrounding areas, but there is no way down to my objective. I don't know if this is a bug or that the opening is so well hidden, Senu and I just can't find her. Anyone have a clue?

Bugged out worse for me. I can see the bandits just fine, problem is they're all skulls and 1 shot me with arrows. Quest says its "Level 1" and I'm level 29, so it seems busted which sucks a ton, lookin' forward to every daily

At the back of the temple there is an underground passage, find the well in the temple follow it out, go up to your left and there us another tunnel that leads to the bandits

Thanks, like I first wrote, I covered every square foot of that area, but I'll go to the big temple and try from there. Hope it works!

well we must be talking about a different place because I spent way too much time again trying to find any well or tunnel or anything that would lead to beneath that area, and there is nothing. I'm talking about the one south of the central quick travel point, down that street that runs to the east of that point, then east at a street that crosses the north south street and in the middle of that block on the north side. It's in Memphis. There is no red square with spears, it's labeled "bandit raid" in the quest title.

There is entrance to the cave where the bandits are, around 10 meters south from the Nomad's Bazaar

Hey, I'm having the exact same mission on today's daily.
Two bandits are marked right under the temple of Ptah and I have to kill them.
I know of two separate caves in that area, one is entered from multiple places, including the Nomad's Bazaar, and is used in the rotten mummies quest.
The other is entered from the well in the south-western part of the temple. There is also a passage from the north-western well to the canal.
None of those caves lead to the bandits. Trust me I've tried every tunnel looking for secret passages or something.
The quest seems to be simply bugged. Or there is yet another cave with a super secret entrance somewhere.

So I've solved the issue. It was indeed bugged. And like with most bugs in this game it's fixed by simple exiting to title screen and reloading.
The bandits are now in the Saqqara Nome.

Thank you, because I found all those too, including one that goes down then out and leads to really nothing. I'll give it a try and report back.

So I discovered something interesting. Once you have the quest, you can move to any city, log out to title, log in, and the bandit camp will be near your new location. Overnight I had moved him far across the map to a higher level area, so when I logged in the camp was there, but like Bartybeans, they had red skulls. As I sat on my mount outside their hideout, I saw a Phylac-whatever-they're called coming my way, so right in front of the bandit hideout, I killed him (much easier on mount to kill these guys, they've never done me any damage when I'm mounted). When I checked again, the two bandits marked as leaders had high-tailed it for the hills, so I went back to Memphis, logged out to title, logged in, and they were there, but in a different local, by the pyramid way west of there that's all steps. I went there and killing them was pretty easy, since they were far below my level. Got reward. Quest done.

I actually ran into this over lunch. Luckily, I tried a different side quest that actually did lead me right to that cave, so I got to kill two birds with one stone.

There were only two entrances to the cave, both pretty well hidden- if not for the other side quest, I seriously doubt I'd have had the patience to find them, especially since they were a decent distance from where you'd expect them to be.

The mission that led me there, by the way, was the mission for the Seer- "Ashes"-something.

Yeah same for me but for me it says level 2 needed to play it but i was level 17 and now i am level 21 and still skulls.
And well these guys have no typical Ubisoft no range limits and have wall hacks. One npc on a horse was shooting me from long range and over walls and so on.

Or these cruising around weird ***** skulls that you can see on big map and when you get close you get warning but you cant see them and can get instantly killed by them to if there are no river or lake near by where you can run in and dive to save your self.

Well, two of those red skulls ran away from me after I killed a Phylakes in front of their hideout, so maybe we can kill them. As you level up, those that were red skulls at your lower level, become normal.

My husband and I looked far and wide, and found the entrance to where they are originally at! (Underground in Memphis!) Trust me, we looked for a LONG time and then some, and we found SO many entrances to so many other things. We didn't want to believe that we couldn't figure it out! Once we got to the bandits, and after killing them all, we found 2 other entrances that leads to them as well. I snapped some pics of the exact spot we found it on the map. Not sure how I could share those with you all. They weren't skulled bandits for us either, they were leveled 20 & 21, which we are level 29. Please let me know if there is a way I can share these photos with the exact locations of the entrances. I promise they're out there!

I'd really like to see those images, too. I searched for almost an hour. It must be glitched, because when I got the same quest in other cities, it worked fine.

Thanks Clive! I didn't see that last post you made until after. Here's the first one we found that lead us straight to them. And I'm sorry for the bad pics, had to take a pic on my phone off the tv.

This is a second entrance we ended up leaving out of. It's a very large tunnel underground.

We're playing as I type, and found out there's another side mission that takes you to the exact tunnel. The mission is called "A Dream of Ashes" where you'll have to find 3 clients for a man, and escort the clients to safety, and give them amulets. One of the clients is in the tunnel and the mission highlights the entrance to the tunnel.

I ran through all those caves, doing Bayek's 'search' and found nothing I hadn't found the first time I found them. What did you find there?

I'm sorry about my first post today, I thought I had jumped to the forum about the Anubis outfit. You are perfectly correct MandaWilburn, thank you.

I had trouble with this one as well. Spent an absolute age trying to find it!

In the end, I found it by going to the well in the North West corner of the Temple, dropping down and exiting the temple through the tunnel. Then turn right and follow the side of the temple around until you find an entrance close by. Its a short walk underneath the temple to the enemies.

I've taken a short DVR clip to show the map, Senu showing the entrances and then running through the location.

Hope this helps someone!

This was going to be my advice. Reda loves to start my low-level Bayek out with a high-level, very distant quest in every new playthrough. I look at it, say "nope", and hit reload. I always get a completely different assignment upon reloading.

In general, reloading fixes most bugs.
