http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gifI don't fly On-line to offen... but last nite a friend and I were having some Excellent Aerial Duels.
We were using Prop & Jet... but the Best by far were the Old Canvas & Wire Crates. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif The Double Wingers were MINT!
Flying using some Acrobatics... well what I know anyway... was a Blast or should I say One Hec of a Time!
http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gifWWhhooo Weeeeee!
I'll be doing that a lot more in the Future.

Double wing gave the plane maneuvrability in expense of speed. So i must agree with you,it's great to fly those oldies http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif There was a lot more action in the air with the Bi-Planes then with the later Prop or jets.
I use the Bi-Planes alot and some of the 1940 and older Aircraft...the Mig's or Hurricane's with the Full Mission Builder or with UberDemons excellent Program.
But flying Online with the Bi-Planes was Great Fun. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Having flown an actual biplane (Christen Eagle II) back in the mid-80's, I can tell you that it was just about he most fun I've ever had. Especially since (at the time) I was accustomed to a Piper Tomahawk!

Man, I really need to get rich someday and buy me one...

Havn't flown a Bi-Plane... but flew in a Sterman, out of Oxford Mass. USA.
Quite the ride. The owner was an intructor during WW2 using the Sterman as the trainer.
