I once had a program displaying facts and comparing different AC. Does it still exist? If so, whats the name and place to download it?

heres one from the the old il2.com site, it hasnt been updates with the new flyable A/C, hope it helps: http://www.il2sturmovik.com/games_elts/fb_aircraft.php

Thanks for the answer. Yes I know about that list but it has become somewhat old...

What I have in mind was an external program made by some fairly eager guy where you could actually compare the specs of different planes quite easily.

With the enourmous amount of planes I find it hard to know what to choose. What is e.g. the difference between Yak 3 and Yak 3P?

I think your referring to 'Hardball's aircraft veiwer', but be warned, it doesn't work with Windows 2000.

Here you go pettera.

You don't say what your o/s is, but this one is the AEP version of Hardball's aircraft viewer and it runs fine on windows XP.

Download the zip file here:

Thank you. Hardballs' is what I meant. Dowloading now. I have XP and cable but obviously the web server is quite slow. Will take more than 20 min.

Thanks

It's finally downloaded. I installed it. I must say, I wish I knew about it before. It's really nice.

But NOT (my) Win98SE.

I had to re-format after installing it.

Hardball's pre-AEP viewer worked fine for me though.

Just a word of caution to those who haven't migrated to XP. (which I will by this weekend).
