I just noticed that the tailwheel of the bf109K-4 retracts into the fuselage even though there are no doors. Nice effect. Have others mentioned this?

Yeah, I noticed that while I was making a skin for it last month. A small thing, but kind of disappointing, given the attention to detail in so many other areas.

I noticed a similar thing with the Fw 190-D; it looks like the main gear has no inner doors, but watching the gear lower on external view I discovered the inner doors are there -- with tires painted on them...

Also in 109 F-2, F-4 and G-2?

The thing I did notice is that the view is the same whether with the E or the K. The taller tailwheel of the G-10,and K should give a better view forward. It don't
