its no big deal, and it might have been mentioned, but i found a bug with the me-163 landing gear. if u take off and fly fast enough for ur gear to rip off, the gear fall to the ground. now if u press g to retract your gear, a different set of gear falls to the ground. its hard to explain but just fly fast enough for your gear to rip off, then retract the skid thing.

no, i cant explain it. u will have to do it yourself. When you take off, dont press g, just fly fast enough that they break off on their own. Then press g to retract what is left of the skid pad, and a set of gear will appear, and fall to the ground.

There's another thing more annoying related with AI. When Me 163s run out of fuel before getting back to airfield -and they were supposed to do- they yell 'I'm down!' and try to make a forced landing anywhere, even if they're high at home and can glide perfectly to a safe landing.

And if they have fuel, they land with power on -with in RL was suicidal, and after landing, since the only central skid makes the craft to incline one side when stopped and they can't taxi -leaving the plane in the middle of strip, they have solved this circumstance by making the pilot run as hell while the plane disappears...

I guess all this is related to AI being programmed for common planes only...

This is however a bug that is by no means limited only to ME163, every AI pilot in game when runs out of fuel, will scream 'i'm hit', and slowly descend to earth, falling usually to their death. Sometimes however they manage to land if land is clear... but with ME163... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Yeah, but in RL Me 163 pilots were usually told to burn all fuel before landing...

And fuel lasts just a few minutes...
