Hey everyone,

Today we released a patch that included a few changes and bug fixes.

Changes in this release

You can now use keyboard shortcuts to switch between active chat conversations. Ctrl+tab to go down on the active chat list and Ctrl+Shift+tab to go up on the active chat list.
A warning will now appear if CAPS LOCK is enabled when typing in your password.
Added an option to view your password is plain text when creating a new account.

Bug fixes

Fixed an issue where an error message would incorrectly appear when changing the name of a group, even though the name change was successful.
Fixed an issue where the chat history would sometimes not appear in chronological order.
Fixed an issue where badges added through the Ubisoft Club website would sometimes not appear in the Uplay client.

Uplay, what did you do with this update?
Is is true that there is a trojan inside the upc.exe?
My antivirus detected it.
Please answer us.
That's unbelievable and unacceptable!

I returned the Uplay version and deactivated automatic updating until correction

Hey everyone, this is a false positive that is being flagged by some anti-viruses. As long as you downloaded the client from us (https://uplay.ubi.com/) you are fine.

White list Uplay and you should be good to go. You can also send the information to your anti-virus provider as well so they can get it white listed on their side.

What about this? Uplay updates, and this happens. I download this version and it updates again...
