I see in other forum that:
"In the patch (at least beta 07), the realistic manual control of Emil is AUTOMATIC. and the I-16 and I-15 can start the engine on flight and the dive really good. The idea of complex engine management was great, but no everybody have a hotas and rotary controls. Simplification was needed. The market rule, and very hardcore sims are not good for sell copies (FB is between arcade and simulator, is in the half -CFS3 Arcade, Aces High flight simulator-)."

Is true?

I think FB is dificult and i like it!! if the patch is going to simplified the game i don´t want it. If i want to play a arcade i have CFS3 too. I haven´t a hotas and i can manage the pitch with buttons or keys.
The patch must correct some problems and add more things but not reduce realism.

Hopefully they speed the trim up. Oleg said they didn't "plan" on it, but as we all know, plans can change.

And yes this game is not marketed towards simmers, it is marketed towards gamers. The simmers can go play FS2002.

This game is supposed to be fun. Nobody wan't to mess around with buttons thatr are just a pain in the butt.

Yeah, and if people want a hard core flight sim, they got Microsoft's. We need an air war sim.

Ever hear any ubi.post boasting of how a 5% internet dogfight bridge was protected from being bombed by fighter cover?

Actually, I have to disagree. With customizable realism, individual gamers can make the game as real or unreal as they like. Those of us that like as much realism as possible would appreciate more. Maybe not as far as a complete start up sequence, or realistic trim/flight controls, but then again, maybe we would. I would. I do have MSFS2002, and it's very realistic. What says IL2 can't be of the same scope? I think the realism settings should be more all-encompassing, things like being able to pick realistic trim, FULL complex engine management, starting at parking instead of on the runway, etc. Of course sometimes I'd like all of that stuff turned off, for a "quickie" air battle, but more often than not I'd have all of that available... especially for campaigns. What do you think?

I think just as sports teams have to police themselves or otherwise they end up grossly overpaying players, that sadly the same ammount of policing must be done in FB due to many players unwillingness to play in any other settings than "full real". (for instance Oleg believes padlock should be a part of full real but online wars don't care, they just click "full real" no matter what it means)
