Hi all I'm not really a stat freak my self. Maybe only since my data entry job with keying stats to improve hehe.

I wanted to know if there was a program so you could check your gun stats after a game, like how many bullets hit the aircraft etc. I know dedicated servers have it online and saved on web pages.

But if you can do this can't you use a 3rd party program?

yes there is, it's called sturmolog (originally a german program I think).

Just do a google search on it, and dl it.

It gives you your shots fired and shots hit percentage, what you destroyed, whether you used bombs or rockets, and also gives you stats for everyone else in the same missions as you (coop or dogfight). I don't think it works offline though, only for online flying, but I'm not sure.

You don't need any 3rd party programs to find this information. Just hit shift-tab to open the console and type in 'user STAT' with stat in caps and you will see all kinds of info about everyone in the game. Using pageup and pagedown you can scroll through the list. You will be at the top, with the other player's stats listed under yours. It doesn't give hit %, but that's easy enough to find as long as you have a calculator (or good at math.)

The information you want is located in a file called eventlog.lst This file is in the root directory of IL-2 FB. Here is a sample of the info. This info is only recorded in multiplay and it is recorded for all players (by the host, not sure if the rest of the players get this info).

You can get this info if you do not play online. To do this, you must use the multiplay option and create a server just for yourself. The mission you play must be stored in the "net" folder of FB or you can't play it from the server area.

Sample data

Name: Fitzwallis
Score: 32
State: KIA
Enemy Aircraft Kill: 2
Enemy Static Aircraft Kill: 0
Enemy Tank Kill: 0
Enemy Car Kill: 0
Enemy Artillery Kill: 0
Enemy AAA Kill: 0
Enemy Wagon Kill: 4
Enemy Ship Kill: 0
Friend Aircraft Kill: 0
Friend Static Aircraft Kill: 0
Friend Tank Kill: 0
Friend Car Kill: 0
Friend Artillery Kill: 0
Friend AAA Kill: 0
Friend Wagon Kill: 0
Friend Ship Kill: 0
Fire Bullets: 2212
Hit Bullets: 83
Hit Air Bullets: 64
Fire Roskets: 0
Hit Roskets: 0
Fire Bombs: 6
Hit Bombs: 2

Through extensive analysis I have found that bomb and rocket hit data is misleading. You can drop a bomb or fire rockets and destroy many vehicles, but if you don't actually hit one of the vehicles, the bomb or rocket is considered a miss.

Thanks guys, seems like afew ways to check. The program sound the best that GIAP mentioned. But the console sounds easier for a quick in game glance http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

See what the lowest number of shots I can shoot a bandit down with now http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Try <gunstat in the console. I think that is what you are looking for.
