View Full Version : Extreme Ping Issues; related to free weekend?

I am playing from Germany, connecting to weu with a ~40ms ping, which is normal for my internet connection.

Everything is fine and dandy until the operator selection is done and the round starts; then my ping about doubles. That still seems to be normal after all I've observed.

However, after last playing properly on Thursday afternoon (CEST), I have been getting extreme pings of over 500ms and consequently been kicked from games (even short rounds of TH) without being able to play a single game to finish. I have tried everything suggested in the guide on fixing network problems, but nothing helped at all. Nothing about my hardware, software, or network has changed, so I'm more than ready to blame it on the free weekend. Which is an utter shame, because one of my friends doesn't have the game yet and we were trying to play together to see if it's a game we'd like to play together.
