Hi, am about to purchase FB and AEP off ebay from a trader who I have used before and supplies imported games. The manuals he supplies are in a foreign language so I dont usually purchase them. But is there a CDkey on either FB or AEP which will mean I will have to purchase the manual so that I have a valid key?

thanks

Most everything you need to know is on disk 2 anyway.

If you can't find it there, You can surely find it here in the sticky posts at the top.

Good Luck!

Yes me too. Lets keep it off here about alternative ways of running the game. Take it elswhere, like Private Topics or lets say another forum all together. Any more talk of it and One of us will be forced to lock this one down or delete.

The origional question may be spam, not sure but, a legit question, this game does not have to be registerd like Battlefield 1942 or others to be able to play online. You can register it if you like though, but not required.

My only concern from an ebay trader is that its an origianl game and not a copy. If you can get it retail it comes with a manual and a nice box http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Have you checked your Private Topics recently? (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=ugtpc&s=400102)

I hope 1C think of using a cd key for online play in future games, so that those blasted pirates can't fly with us! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif

I'm sure the guys who pirate this game are also the ones who cut across the runway, kill steal, team kill and generally deserve a good kick up the a*** for their anti social behaviour! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

hey, i wouldnt tell people where to find one on this forum, in fact i wouldnt do it at all because i wouldnt trust them enough that they were going to buy the game. (i love this game... i make a point of paying for all of it, besides its the best value for money entertainment/hobby ive ever come across... 2 1/2 games, about 70 quid over 4 years and im still playing it.) besides all it takes is initiative and you stop people using that... you just have to count on them being lazy most of the time.

and i agree about the pirates... i suspect they just downloaded the game 'to see what its like' them they mess around in it a bit, and stop playing. not that ill deny having pirated software in the past, but if i enjoy it and think is a good product ill buy it to support the developers and get more good games made!

Sad part is that you don't see too often games with a box in Europe http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Why would anyone pirate the game unless they can't find it in store.I mean IL2 is 4.99 eur and IL2FB is 9.99 eur. Aces is true,is about 20 eur now,but still far to be expensive.

Maybe the Israeli version had only a .pdf booklet.

International editions of games are marketed in mysterious ways...

I was just saying that IL2FB didn't came in a real box like the IL2 original, its the crappy dvd box, same for aces.I hate dvd boxes.I want a nice art box, that's what I want.Is cutting the cost they say http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I got the original IL-2, FB, AEP, Lock-On all in a DVD box. It's sad, but true. I guess nobody is willing to pay anymore for the box.

But a company must keep their cost low. If you see a game is produced in about two years, imagine the costs. People get more demanding every year and the prices are somewhat frozen to about EUR 50,= The money has got to come from somewhere.

So I understand why they have the DVD boxes, and I doubt I'm willing to pay 5 euros more for just a box which after a while will be thrown away.

BREAK! BREAK!
