Ok Im fond of the color schemes of the planes on all sides. But how'd they do it?Was it like "man these color's look good!" or was it based on the environment.I know this topic should be in the paint schemes fourm, but I could not resist to share it with you all.

Except that late in the WAR, when combat airspeeds exceeded pilot's ability to see and enjoy the paint schemes, they went to bare aluminum metal. This is one of many reasons Oleg should take FB back to the 1930s Biplanes instead of late 1940s spaceplanes.

Err, you're both right actually! The omition of camouflage paint on USAAF planes had many benefits and causes. First of all, they figured out that Luftwaffe's offensive capability was so drasticly reduced that they could have their planes in bare metal finish. This was beneficial in many ways. First of all the looks, than the saved weight and than the smoother surface which allowed even greater speeds to be achieved.
