Hey all!

Here's a movie I made from all the tracks the pilots sent in to the Solo-aerobatic Track event. Put it together in 6 hours or so. Pretty cool

Get it here at netwings:
http://www.netwings.org/library/Forgotten_Battles/Videos/index-3.html

Netwings might be kinda slow at the moment, but I can hopefully upload this movie (and Bellum btw) to a faster server soon. But don't expect anything too soon.

Hope you enjoy it, and thanks to all the great aerobatic pilots!

Interesting - considering the bandwidth we have coming into the netwings site you should not be getting those speeds. I will do some investigating

Will watch it when I get the chance Pawnee, but knowing you, I'm sure it's good!

Thanks. I thought the same thing, but considering that it took Pawnee 6+ hours to create this, I think that the time involved in dl'ing is pretty irellevant. However, it is the slowest I have ever dl'd anything fropm that site.

Thanks, Wiz

Ok, I've seen the movie, and congratulations to all who participated. Fine bunch of pilots, IMO. (Not speaking for myself, LOL.)

VERY nice movie, Pawnee, and I really enjoyed watching this great compilation.

BTW, what are the chances of the participants getting together one time to attempt some formation flying? I think it would be a blast!

Whoever was flying in that movie got some serious skill.

Well I cannot see anything wrong with our configuration. Have raised a support call with the hosting company in case they have done something. It could be that they are fed up with the drain we put on their resources and are throttlng us somewhere

I started off trying some stuff with the P-38, and the actually was able to pull off a few interesting stunts, but 10 minutes of P-38 aerobatics can be a bit boring. I ultimately chose a plane that was better suited to low-level stunt-flying, even though the Lightning is also my favorite bird. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

My hat's off to Boris with the super-slow roll and tailslide spin.

Nice Flying http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif

Bah, tried to get it 3 times, the dl speed sucks, weird, starts of at 60K/sec then drops to like 5 in under a minute, trying again, hoepfully it wont time out again.

Excellent work with the camera techniques, I really like the hand-held camera shake feel. Very nice job Pawnee.

Glad you all liked it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I hope we can get it on a faster server soon, as netwings is way to slow at the moment.

tHeBaLrogRoCkS, the European Aerobatic Silver Triggers team will make one, as soon as we get our 4th pilot to fill the last slot in the formation. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

EDIT: Got 115kb/s on netwings now
