This week marked the return of Community Developer Yannick Banchereau and a guest appearance by Live Producer Kevin Goyon! Launch date for the upcoming PTS, character customization options, Encrypted Caches and more were discussed, so check out the VoD (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/155279773) or follow up on the move with the Podcast Recap (http://ubi.li/zq38r)!

The maintenance (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1695751-Maintenance-June-29th-2017-COMPLETE) this week was a routine one, and was completed successfully.

The Update 1.7 PTS kicks off tomorrow, June 30th on PC, with console following shortly behind in the coming days. This is due to the nature of updating and preparing the PTS on console. Console players who were active within the last 30 days will be selected based off of play time to fill the 10,000 spots on the Xbox One PTS and 10,000 slots on the PS4 PTS. PC remains open to all.

The team also showed off the all new Encrypted Caches, available at the Premium Vendor in the Terminal. Encrypted caches can only be opened by making use of a special in game key that can be crafted by collecting key fragments in game. Ten key fragments are used to create the Cipher Key, and unlock the Encrypted Cache. Players looking to grab a quick Cipher Key can also purchase them complete from the Premium Vendor. Encrypted Caches hold a whole host of different vanity items, unlike any others available in game currently.

There’s a new vanity slot coming to The Division as well with Face Masks! While we are not quite ready to show all the goods there, keep an eye out for more news on this in the coming weeks.

And last but certainly not least, the team revealed the all new area of the Terminal that will be coming in 1.7, the character customization room! One of our most requested features to be added was an option to alter your character’s appearance and the post-1.7 Terminal will have a locker room, complete with a whole host of character feature changes available to all!

PC PTS kicks off tomorrow with a console variant not far behind, and currently, this is the focus going forward for the short term future of The Division. We have a lot of aspects for the community to get in and get testing and we cannot wait to hear all your feedback on the Official PTS Forums!

Keep an eye out for the first iteration of the PTS Patch Notes, coming soon! But in the meantime, take a minute to catch up with our Update 1.7 feature articles on Global Events (https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/news/152-293355-16/update-17-global-events), Commendations (https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/news/152-293999-16/update-17-commendations), and Classified Gear (https://tomclancy-thedivision.ubisoft.com/game/en-us/news/detail.aspx?c=tcm:152-294372-16&ct=tcm:152-76770-32)!

We also are very happy to announce that we have a 4th of July sale coming at the premium Vendor, with many different items at big discounts for the SHD Agents of The Division! We have new items, sale items, and even a free item or two for you during this time so keep an eye out for the kick off notice soon!

As always, be sure to join us over on the Official Forums (http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/498) or on the community Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/) if you’re looking for a place to discuss all things related to The Division.

Until next time!
