I'm getting the last hit, seeing the execution prompt for like half a sec. then all the sudden it goes away and tuns into a block??? Wtf!? It's happened many many times now

Textbook lag/net latency. It happens from time to time especially when you and your opponent are respectively red NAT to each other.

Program wise. I can take a guess that the system on your frontend detects it as a hit and goes into the execution system, but that "ruling" is turned over after final "judgement" according to what the "connection" thinks has really happened -- sometimes its in your favor (as in you see the opponent block the move, but then immediately the damage registers)... and sometimes against you, like this.

Bummer. Makes sense. It's never happened till now though. Hmmmm??? Oh well, what cha gonna do right

That's because a netcode industry standard called Lockstep is intentionally omitted in FH code to make it *feel* more reactive.

You never see this in any proper competitive game, and most noob developers initially do this like GGG of Path of Exile had that problem for years before they got experienced changed their system.
