Hey,

I was wondering if the Beta will be open for the public? Or will it be in-house?

Cheers!

AC never had Beta available to the public (as far as i know). All the gameplay videos you see online are demos that are playable only at E3.

Hello Ubi
I was wondering is there anyway for people who pre-purchased the game to get a demo?
I mean come on you can't just blow our minds with this epic game and say to us you have to wait 4 months to get it.. we will be crazy by then :)
And you already have one
We need it also to test the game on PC
to make sure that it will work properly on our Pcs
Just be merciful.
thanks

A demo would be great, but I don't think it will happen. Ubi does do some huge beta testing but that is usually for multiplayer games so I do not expect it for Origins. Anyway after 2 years of waiting I do not mind waiting a few months, especially seeing how big the map is and how nice the graphics are and all the different skills and play style choices... and the star gazer puzzles.

I'm just getting my pc ready... :D

I have a 512Gb M.2 drive... It's full of games so as we have been told by someone at E3 that the map is 10 times bigger than syndicate I think the game will possibly be 50Gb (or more) so I am installing a 1TB SSD to move my other games to... so my fast M.2 is free for Origins :)

I would be worrying about the Viga Card first :)
From what I have seen in E3 I doubt that my nvedia gtx 960 will handle the game properly :(

the 960 is a great card. I was at my friends house and installed his for him and the first game we played was Unity and it was great. Unity was and is a very demanding game and it played fantastic on the 960. I think a lot of games nowadays also depend on the cpu... I've often made guesses in the past and have been very very wrong :o so I do not want to make a guess because I do not want a lot of hopes being raised. So I would not say what minimum spec might be but I get a feeling that a system that ran Unity quite well would still be able to play origins... (even though consoles are playing it in 4k)

Remebering when we use to get demo discs on the front of mags......

Oh yes... every month I'd buy 2 or 3 mags, they always had demos and shareware programs wow... that takes me back... I used to love that.

Guys I remember those days too
But we are in a different era now when you have a season pass and pre ordering games..
The charity days are gone for ever :(

Even just a special release of what we saw at E3 would be awesome. Not holding my breath, but we would not like to see this beautiful work of art suffer the same fate as AC Unity.

About the requirements, do you guys think that a gtx 760 is good enough, or should I get a better one?

Demos decrease sales.

Conceptually, they are dead.
