Some one told me his PCI CMI8738 sound card works just fine in AEP,no time out.
And all kinds of on board soundcard(such as Soundstorm/AC97)course the time out,is that right?

I wouldn't say just onboard as there are users with Phillips and Turtle Beach cards having issues.

Turtle Beach Santa cruise........Issues here, timed out, reduced quality and hardware acceleration in IL2 and that resolved the timeout BUT now sound especially in f3 pops in and out

Ok,it's time to go.......to buy an Audigy2 and a CMI8738 -_-!!!
Just do some test,if the CMI8738 could work,i'll try to find some bull**** reasons to send the Audigy back http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
And if there are any patch later,i'll through the 8738 out of the window, and back to use the soundstorm http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/34.gif
